Je te conseille d'être à New-York même, il est a des hotels à des prix raisonnables j'étais personnellement dans l'hotel continental, situé vers le milieu de central park près du métro, très pratique.
Les transports à partir du New-Jersey c'est compliqué et tu vas payer cher. A l'intérieur de New-York c'est assez bien desservit entre le métro et les bus. T'as des pass 1 semaine métro + bus. Y'a beaucoup moins de lignes qu'à Paris, et méfie toi les métro dit express ne s'arrête qu'aux grosses station. Le local s'arrête partout.
Sans parler la langue, oui tu vas galérer, la plupart des américains ne parlent pas le français (tu croises pas mal de français à New-York néanmoins), la langue étrangère la plus parlée est l'espagnol.
Pour ma part je me débrouille bien en anglais donc ça allait sauf au resto corréen, on ne se comprenait absolument pas lol.
Perso j'avais un guide en français si tu ne parles pas l'anglais c'est obligatoire. Tu pars seule?
